Terms & Conditions

General

1.1. Submitting a comment and otherwise participating in this Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). Information on how to enter and prize information form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

Promoter
2.1. The Promoter is Nikon Australia PTY LTD, trading as Nikon Australia (ABN 34 121 761 537) of Rider Blvd, Rhodes NSW 2138.

Eligibility
3.1. The Giveaway is only open to individuals who:

i.          are residents of Australia and are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry

ii.         have a valid and public Instagram account.

iii.        Have commented and tagged 1 valid Instagram Account on @silkcarwright’s giveaway post on Instagram

iv.        are following @silkcartwright and @nikonaustralia on Instagram, and            

v. are not directors, management or employees of the Promoter or its related companies or agencies associated with the Giveaway, or their immediate family members, (“Entrant”).

Promotional Period
4. 1. The Giveaway commences on Wednesday, 25th January 2023 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Wednesday, February 1st 2023 (“the Entry Period”). Comments for entry must be posted and received by the Promoter within the Entry Period on the Giveaway Post. 

Entries received outside of the Entry Period will not be accepted. 

Entry

5.1. To enter the Giveaway, an Entrant must, during the Entry Period:

i.        post a comment on the Giveaway Post on @silkcartwright’s Instagram account, during the Entry Period and follow @silkcartwright and @nikonaustralia on Instagram.        

5.2. Entrants may enter the giveaway once. If multiple comments are posted, only the first entry will be accepted. Multiple comments do not qualify entrants for multiple entries. 

5.3. The Promoter will accept all entries that successfully follow the instructions. If Entrants live outside Australia, are not within the ages explicitly specified, and/or their individual submission does not adhere to the Terms and Conditions listed, their entry into the Giveaway will not be approved/allowed.

5.4. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry, for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in telecommunications service or equipment. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Giveaway.

5.5. Entries must not be unlawful, offensive, defamatory, derogatory, racist or otherwise inappropriate. Any entry which the judges deem inappropriate will be invalid.

5.6. Cost of entry is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply. Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service provider.

Prizes

6.1. Prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable as cash. 

1x Silk Cartwright’s pottery vessel “Tangled Sculpture”, as specified in the giveaway post.

6.2. If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of similar value.

Winner selection

7.1. Winner selection will take place after entries close (01/02/23). 

7.2. The winner will be contacted via Instagram DM by @mannequinhands where they must confirm their details prior to receiving their prize. 

7.3. The winner will be selected at random by a random name generator software.

7.4. The prize winner must respond within 1 day in order to verify their identity and provide their email and mailing address to receive their prize. Prizes will be sent to the winner after verification and receipt of address details. Prizes will be mailed to Australian postal addresses only by Victoria Houllis. 

7.5. If the winner does not respond to the private message in accordance with clause 7.4, the winner will forfeit the prize, and the prize will be awarded to the next randomly selected entrant. The Promoter will not be liable for a winner who does not respond to the Promoter’s direct private message and therefore forfeits their prize and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.6. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify Entrants at its sole discretion for reasons that may or may not be disclosed to the disqualified Entrant.

Personal Information

8.1. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner on social media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Giveaway (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.    

8.2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and eligibility of Entrants (including an Entrant's proof of identity, proof of age, and proof of residency) and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this Giveaway. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.

8.3. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Giveaway.

8.4. Privacy Statement. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this Giveaway (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the Giveaway) and for promotional purposes surrounding this Giveaway. By entering this Giveaway, entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
